Corporate Communications Officer

(a) To maximise positive exposure of RTHK’s corporate initiatives and brand according to the promotion and publicity plan; (b) To implement stakeholder communication plan to ensure timely, effective and consistent communications of RTHK’s initiatives to various stakeholder groups, including relevant government departments, Legislative Councilors, political parties, etc.; (c) To assist in the preparation of work plan, presentations, contributory articles, letters, etc. for senior management; and (d) To perform any duties assigned. [Note: Required to work irregular hours / over-night shifts; to work on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays; and to work during typhoons, Black Rainstorm Signal, “extreme conditions” and other emergencies.]

Candidates should have – (a) a Hong Kong Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism and Communications, Marketing or Public Relations disciplines or equivalent with at least 4 years’ solid post-qualification full-time work experience in media or journalism exposure to corporate communications, public relations and marketing; AND (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (1)]. Candidates who possess – (i) strong interpersonal skills with high fluency in Cantonese, English and Putonghua and good Chinese and English writing skills; and (ii) proficiency in common business software (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Chinese and English word processing will have an advantage.
