職責
Please note that the post require outdoor work. Depending on the operational needs, a Community Organiser(Part-time) will be assigned to provide assistance or clerical and secretarial support in the following aspects-
(i) Formation and development of owners’ corporation/residents' organisations and heighten their interest in community affairs;
(ii) Attending meetings of owners’ corporation/residents' organisations as well as conducting inspections and visits to owners’ corporation/residents' organisations;
(iii) Promotion of community affairs or organisation of district activities or events, including but not limited to Care Teams, fight crime campaigns, community involvement campaigns and projects;
(iv) Management of community centres and community halls;
(v) Research work and to reflect the views of the public;
(vi) Daily operation of District Council and the Committees/Working Groups under District Council;
(vii) Daily operation of Area Committee(s), District Fight Crime Committee, District Fire Safety Committee and their Working Group(s);
(viii) Inspection and reporting on district facilities, public facilities or district issues, including but not limited to planter boxes, rainshelters and illegally parked bicycles; and
(ix) Carrying out any other duties assigned by Kwai Tsing District Office.

Candidates should have -
(a) (i) Level 2 or equivalent [Note (1)] or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong
Diploma of Secondary Education Examination(HKDSEE) [Note (2)], or equivalent; or
(ii) Level 2 [Note(3)] / Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of
Education Examination (HKCEE) [Note (2)], or equivalent; and
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [Note (3)] or above in Chinese
Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent.
薪酬及福利
HKD$68.4 per hour

(1) Applicants must apply online through the G.F. 340 Online Application System of the Civil Service Bureau (https://www.csb.gov.hk). The application must also be supported by submission of supporting documents by email. (For details, please refer to item (3) below.)
(2) Applications which are incomplete or submitted in person, by post, by fax or by e-mail will not be accepted.
(3) Applicants must submit the copies of all supporting documents including the academic result/certificates and employment proofs (e.g. employment certificates, reference letters, etc.) to the Kwai Tsing District Office by email (Email Address: kwtdo_recruitment@had.gov.hk) on or before the closing date for application. Please specify “Application for the post of Community Organiser (Part-time)" as the subject of the e-mail and the on-line application number should be quoted in the e-mail and the supporting documents. Late applications or applications which are incomplete or without the relevant supporting documents will not be considered.
(4) Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation in about 8 to 12 weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
(5) Candidates should bring along the following documents when attending interviews: (i) HKID Card; (ii) Original of academic proof; (iii) Original of employment proof; and (iv) One recent photo.
聘用條款
(i) Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms;
(ii) A contract of up to 1 year will be offered to successful candidates. The entry pay, terms of appointment and conditions of service to be offered are subject to the provisions prevailing at the time the offer of appointment is made. Further renewal should be subject to satisfactory performance and operational needs; and
(iii) Successful candidates may be required to work outdoor, irregular hours and on Sundays or General Holidays.
