Curriculum Support Officer[Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM)]2 (EDB/ITE/150/26)

(a) To plan and liaise with various stakeholders such as tertiary institutions, professional bodies, other government departments and non-governmental organisations, etc. in relation to large-scale publicity events and student learning activities on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM)/Innovation & Technology (I&T) education, and to handle the related administrative work; (b) To provide support in various professional development programmes (PDPs) on STEAM/I&T education, including the planning, organising and monitoring of commissioned PDPs on STEAM/I&T education; (c) To provide assistance in development and monitoring of an on-line self-learning platform/ video-based learning and teaching resources for junior secondary level Science/STEAM education; (d) To provide support in publicity of STEAM education, including designing promotional materials; (e) To provide support in administrative duties of the Section; and (f) To perform any other duties as advised by the supervisor(s).

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) related discipline, or equivalent [see Notes (i) and (iii)]; (b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (ii)]; (c) At least 3 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching, curriculum development and/or project management in STEAM-related areas or STEAM education [See Note (iv)]; (d) Possess sound knowledge and educational experience in the area of Chemistry/Physics/Biology education, Science/STEAM education and local education system [see Note (iv)]; and (e) Possess a higher degree related to curriculum development and/or educational management, or equivalent preferred [see Note (i)].
