Applicants must apply online through the G.F. 340 On-line Application System on the Civil Service Bureau’s webpage (https://www.csb.gov.hk/english/recruit/7.html) on or before 12 November 2026. Applications which are incomplete, or submitted in person, by post, by fax or by e-mail will not be accepted. Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions / Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. Applicants should submit copies of their diplomas / certificates, official transcripts of studies and official documents stating the mode of delivery (e.g. full time / part time, on campus / distance learning, etc.) of the study programmes by post to the General Office, 4th Floor, Civil Aid Service Headquarters, 8 To Wah Road, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon within one week after submitting the online application. The online application number should be quoted on the envelop and on every page of the copies of the supporting documents. To avoid delayed or unsuccessful delivery of mail items, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this Department and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. Applicants will bear any consequences arising from not paying sufficient postage. Copies of local qualification documents are not required at this stage of application. Applicants who are invited to attend the Job-related Performance Tests will normally receive an invitation by e-mail about ten to twelve weeks after the closing date for application. Longer time may be required under certain circumstances, e.g. when a large number of applications are received. Please provide an accurate e-mail address in the application form. Applicants are responsible for checking their e-mails to ensure that the invitation will be duly received. Those who are not invited for tests may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
